Bugatti Veyron
Price: $1,700,000

The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engined full-sized grand touring car. It is the fastest production car in the world, with an average top speed of 431.16 km/h. It is designed and developed by the Volkswagen and produced by Bugatti Automobiles. The car is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti company.

Lamborghini
ReventonPrice: $1,600,000

The Lamborghini Reventón ranks as one of the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini road cars to date. Only 20 vehicles would be released to the public, with one additional car (marked as 0/20) produced for the Lamborghini Museum. The Reventón is named for a fighting bull, in line with Lamborghini tradition.

McLaren F1
Price: $970,000

The McLaren F1 is a sports car designed and manufactured by Gordon Murray and McLaren Automotive. On 31 March 1998, it set the record for the fastest production car in the world, 391 km/h. As of April 2009, the F1 is surpassed by only four other production cars in sheer top speed, but is still the fastest naturally aspirated production car. It is lighter and has a more streamlined structure than even most of its modern rivals and competitors despite having one seat more than most similar sports cars, with the driver’s seat located in the middle.

Ferrari Enzo

The Enzo Ferrari is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari. It was built in 2002 using Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fibre body, F1-style electrohydraulic shift transmission, and Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramic composite disc brakes.

Pagani Zonda F

Price: $667,321

The Zonda F is named after Formula One driver Juan Manuel Fangio. The Zonda C12 F debuted at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. It is the most extensive reengineering of the Pagani car yet, though it shares much with its predecessors including the 7.3 L V12. The company promises a 3.5 second sprint to 100 km/h, and a top speed over 346 km/h.

SSC Ultimate Aero
Price: 654,000

The SSC Ultimate Aero is an American-built mid-engine supercar by Shelby SuperCars. Its higher-performance limited production version, the SSC Ultimate Aero TT, is the second fastest production car in the world (behind the 2010 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport), with a recorded speed of 411.99 km/h. The Aero and the Shelby SuperCars company are the brainchildren of Jerod Shelby, who started out building exotic ‘replicars’ including a Fiero-based Ferrari F355 and a Lamborghini Diablo based on a spaceframe which was used in the Ultimate Aero prototype.

Saleen S7
Price: $555,000

The S7 debuted on August 19, 2000 at the Monterey Historic Races. From 2000 until 2004, the S7 featured a naturally aspirated V8 engine with 550 horsepower. The S7 Twin Turbo engine unleashes a top speed of 399 km/h.

Koenigsegg CCX

The Koenigsegg CCX is a mid-engined roadster from Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg. The CCX has been engineered to comply with the US regulation and market demands and is a newer design that replaced the Koenigsegg CCR. CCX is an abbreviation for Competition Coupé X; the X commemorating the 10th anniversary, (being the Roman numeral for ten), of the completion and test drive of the first CC vehicle in 1996.

Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Roadster

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is an Anglo-German hypercar jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive, built in Portsmouth and the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, England. At the time Mercedes-Benz owned 40 per cent of the McLaren Group. SLR stands for ‘Sport, Leicht, Rennsport’ (sport, light, racing). Mercedes-Benz stated that they would build 3,500 SLRs over a span of seven years, with an annual production of 500 cars.

Porsche Carrera GT
Price: $440,000

Originally a production run of 1,500 cars was planned. As of May 6, 2006, 1,270 GT’s had been manufactured, with 604 being sold in the US. Porsche claims it will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 330 km/h. Notable technology includes a pure carbon fiber monocoque and subframe, dry sump lubrication and inboard suspension.
